If this continues i would make an appt with your doctor.
I would get this checked out by a doctor. Make sure you are taking potassium as well. It is probably very low right now.
How are you feeling?
For some people from what I have read on here, (myself included) it can take months for this problem to resolve itself completely. But I would think that if you are still having issues multiple times a day this far in, that like Leann said, you may have an underlying problem such as IBS.
I'm 6 months clean and still have diarrhea of and on. It hasn't been so bad for the last two months. I increased my whole grain cereal intake about two months ago. Oats, brown rice, quinoa, multi-grain breakfast cereal, etc... That made a big difference within a week. I also eat a little yogurt every day to keep my good intestinal bugs thriving. Most health food stores carry a liquid flora of good bacteria if you don't like natural yogurt. Sometimes I wonder if I still have some parasite from Asia or Latin America that I didn't notice because of the pills. I went to the doctor and had a stool sample and tests run, but they said I needed to go back to India and see a doctor, they didn't even know what to look for. There seems to be no other reason accept that my body is used to having a chemical in it. I stopped being constipated from pills a long time ago. Diet seems to be repairing the problem, but it's been slow, it's worth a try.
Well, what will remedy it is obviously Imodium. If you're having diarrhea 6-10 times a day for 90 days, you need to talk to your doc just to be safe. I had it bad at first, but it slacked off. I would have it here and there but not to that extent. Your opiate use could have been masking an underlying intestinal issue, so the best thing is to speak to a professional. We want you safe!!!
