well hun, i don't know your story - just what i'm reading here.

but if you have to keep your job and you feel you need to take these because of it (pain?) then you have to look for other methods of pain management.

or, if it's just flat out abuse, you should consider getting some outside support (in quitting.)

if you're down to 3 or 4 a day, my guess is, you can get by with none.  after a while, they quit working anyway.

so you need to try something NEW, if you really want to be done with this.  again - 3 or 4 are not really making a difference anyway...

sorry, I didn't mean to be confusing. I have no patience, and it seemed like no one was going to answer me. Anyways about my issue, i went from taking 20 5mg hydrocodone, pills to taking 3 maybe 4 a day for pain.  chronic neck and shoulder pain--a very physical job which requires muscle strength.. And like i told my doctor, finding a easier job is not a option, i would not be able to support my family, the money is to good

Does he know you are addicted? Im guessing thats why you are here? Im sorry havent read your whole story, But if thats the case and he does know I dont know why he is sending you . Most of the time you have to find a doc who can give sub because not everyone can. He might be able to and thats why he is sending you I would call and ask. My ex went to a pain doc and ended up addicted because they seem to hand them out like candy. If they dont know they need to know though so that you can get clean if thats what you are wanting =)

I would wait a little while, People are getting off work , I will say that a pain doc here does not give out Sub only certain docs can. And methadone is another demon that i wouldnt get to know. Going to a pain doc they normally help you with meds for the pain and if you are wanting to get off then I dont know about going . But I would keep it on one post and wait a little while there isnt always alot of people around
