painkiller addiction

Hi I've been on painkillers for years, I just want my life normal again when i try i crave the med's then i feel like going crazy.  I have a arnold chiari to my brain hornerated discs to my back.  Im tired of pain if i have to continue to take them i want to be able to take then without abusing them.  Plz help me how i can control my intake

Please talk with your doctor and tell him what is going on.  As tramahater said there are other alternative meds out there.........sara

If you are an addict, that means that YOU cannot control your intake, but I suspect that you already know that.  Talk with your doctor, and get some non-narcotic alternatives for treatment of your pain..

It will be the best thing you ever did, and you may find that you have less pain after your stop the pills anyway!!!
