Day 4. How did you feel?

I know this process is not the same for everyone but was hoping someone could tell me how they felt on their day 4

This is nothing short of todture.   The mental symps are bearable but the phys is crazy.   I've read that This can change further along in the process.

It definitely varies between everybody.  It also varies with me on a few conditions.  The stress in my life makes it harder if I have a lot of it.  Issues that I have or had that I never dealt with come rushing back when the mental part kicks in.  Also if I am in treatment for some reason I have little to no symptoms and I believe it is because I know I cannot get anything.  Another aspect that I found made my symptoms differrent was how bad I relapsed vs how much clean time I had.
I guess if you look at it through percentages and looked at the average day four for most people and the average for me.....
Day four was getting towards the end of the major physical symptoms.  There will still likely be some RLS, diarhea, sleeplessness, and body aches but they shouldn't be as extreme as day 2 and 3.
Keep coming back and updating us on how you are handling it and your symptoms.  The mental part may be the worse.  After the pain, which doesn't typically last that long, the stress and symptoms of depressin come in.  If you have anxiety or depression problems these will present themselves and you may find it difficult to cope with them but there are ways to do it and most people on here can help you.

As all of the above folks have said, it can be different for everyone.  I started feeling MUCH better by day 5 -6 (and I quit cold from a very high dose).  After about a week most of your physical discomfort should be minimal.  Hang in there . . . . you will more than likely "hit the beach" very soon :)

Hi Like actingbrandnew said it all depends on what, how much and how long and for me it was age...If u got down low dose u will just have to hang on to that surf board and ride the wave...You will hit the beach and be able to walk in the sand soon.....lol

God bless us all....

There are things that help such as hot baths exercise and such. Many people also use a benzo for a few days to relieve some symptoms but this can lead to problems itself so buyer beware as they say. Take care and god bless.

Your right, this process is definitely different for everyone. There's a lot of factors that play into how long the withdrawals will last and how hard you will feel them. If your on day 4 I suspect your feeling the worst of it now. There are things you can do to help the process along. Stay hydrated, eat, and try and do some light exercise. Your almost over the hump. Concentrate on them Sooners! (Go Trojans) I felt noticeably better day 5-6 so hang in there.

amen to that! I couldn't have said it better myself! I'm going through the same thing, but I took the damn 10's. I'm soooo sick of calling/trying to score/then feeling so damn guilty, but almost flying home to take them.

Gotta stop. I've been suffering all weekend. today its stomach cramps and tiredness.

I was down to 7.5 norco 3-4 a day.  This process absolutely blows my mind. How much control a little white pill has over our lives is truly Amazing.

I'm so tired of counting pills and worrying about running out early before my next script.  I'm hoping I have the endurance this time.

That's right as long as its a short acting opiate your on and not methadone. By day 7 you should feel much better. Good luck and god bless.
