i ve taken laurtab for 1 year 12 a day is it possible to get better i really need help . am worried it all ready kill me .if you can write back please no i can not read and write very well please help if you can

hey sarah hope you are well . am doing ok .i have to go to the atl for a hockey game for the kids i coach .hope i can get online at the hotel but if not i ll be back saturday .my girlfriend is going to so i sould be fine the kids i coach kids 13 to 18 .am not ready yet but i wont to tell them b/c i wont to be some one who they could come to if they have the same proble what do you thing or any one else thank u all so much i now no there a great life with out drug

thank u i told my girlfriend last night and she was really great about. she knew somthing was going on am gald i did b/c she thout i didn t wont to be with her anymore b/c i was being so weird i knew she would still love i did wont to disapoint her but she wont to help but it mad her cry and it mad me feel really bad  but i guess the only think i can do is get better thank u sarah

You are doing really good my friend.  Yes i had heartburn also so i take some over the counter antacid.  Dont feel like a fool as your feelings are very normal. The panic attacks will get better.  It just takes some time for our bodies to get rid of the drug so we go thru alot of really rotten things.  I am really proud of you for doing this.  I was very terrible to my boyfriend while i was taking pills but it has gotten alot better now that i am not taking them anymore.  I have been clean for over 3 months now.  You are doing really great and we are all here for you so keep writing to us like you are doing.  We will help you thru this.  Im really glad you found this forum.  Stay strong                 sara

Welcome to the forum!  I was taking hydrocodone, which is basically the same thing as you.  The first week is rough to deal with and it may seem like you will never get better, but do not give in.  It is your mind playing tricks on you.  I have often felt like I am different than everyone else and I will not get better, but I have been.  Once I got a taste of feeling good like I did before the pills I knew it would be all up hill from there.  Keep posting and you are doing a great thing for yourself and your girlfriend!

thanks  i think u said your having panic attacks me to a feel like a fool am 6 feet 7 inch  tall 245 and am saced to go to bed by my self  my girl friend  thinks i like cuddling all of the sudden  but b/c of the pill i have not been that good to her  . i thank god she did live  thank u

thought I'd try to answer for you... :) I think heartburn would be normal. I think ANYthing could be normal when going thru w/ds. You're doing awesome! congrats!!!!

The dreams are normal.  Scarey but normal.  I'm glad you made it through 1 day.  Good going!  Now, all you have to do is get through today.  Don't worry about tomorrow.  We'll worry about that later.  Everyone here wants you to succeed so please use this site as much as you need to.  Prayer is very important as well.  God can give you the strength when you don't have it, and will carry the load when you can't.  God will help you through this, just have faith in him.

You are doing just fine on this site.  It takes some getting used to.  Congratulations on Day 1.  You are doing great!!!!  Yes i had dreams at night.  Just remember that is all they are.  Our body and mind plays tricks on us.  You will feel bad for a little while but the drugs need to get out of your body.  You will feel so much better not taking them anymore.  I used to play dominoes with my grandma when i was little.  I had more fun setting them up and then hitting the first one and watching them all fall over.  You are doing so good so hang in there and keep writing to us.       sara
