I don't know how legal this is but I had some lidocae(sp?) patches and put those on and last two hours have been the best so far, it may have something with going past 72 hours.Crazy as it sounds, yet great I think I'm going to actually fall asleep before I finish typing this.
Tonic water has been a life saver for me. It helped me when nothing else did. You might consider trying it.

Try some ace bandages around your calves, not to tight just snug. Drink fluids and move around.
Will do thanks again! I think I'll stick around the forum see if some of the things I learned these last couple of days can help others.
Hang in there. You should start to feel better by tomorrow. And any questions, feel free to ask!!
I'm on day three and hopefully hit my low point last night, I have been using the heating pads and doesn't seem to help all that much but I haven't put them right under my calf's I usually have it around my lower thigh but I will try the epsom salt in my bath next time. Its crazy because I have non addictive muscle relaxers and they arn't doing much. But now I'm off to find some bananas. Thanks so much!
Hi,
You can try a few things. First, hot baths work and are even better with epsom salt. Next you can try putting a heating pad under your calves and lay half-way back in a lounge chair. If you can get some Quinine water, it will also help. A product called "Hyland's Restless Legs" is recommended by some members here if you can get it. Bananas are good to eat and a Potassium supplement surely won't hurt. You need to replenish the potassium in your body during the withdrawal process. I assume this gets worse when you try to lay down? If you can, once again, try laying back in a lounge chair half-way. You will be in a comfortable position but not laying flat.
I know how uncomfortable you are right now but know that it does go away. What day are you on?
