I have to chime in about the kids as well. It sounds like there's a serious child welfare issue going on here. I don't know what the situation has been like but the authorities will remove kids from the home in that type of situation.
I don't really agree with the Suboxone suggestion. The wd's will be gone in a week or two why get yourself addicted to something else rather than just go through a bad week or two. That's just my opinion however and do seem to be people on here who apparently have used Suboxone successfully.
She does need someone to take care of her children, especially while her problem is being taken care of. However, there is a pill called suboxine that will make her craving go away. It will take her aches away..the only thing she will be missing is the high. She has to realize, like I had to, that the high is not reality. You can get suboxine by going to the doctor and her being honest and telling them what is going on. Go to suboxine.com (google it to make sure its the right address) and look for a doctor. My boyfriend and I went an we got suboxine and it is a miracle pill. Also, she needs to go to church and give her life to Jesus. :) God bless.
I agree with vicki Your friend is ill and needs help but the first priority is the three children. This is a serious situation. 3 small kids in a house with no utilities?
Someone needs to step in and do something NOW! Does she not have parents that can step in and take the kids? She obviously is in no shape to be taking care of children. The children come first then and only then can her needs be addressed. Katie
Just my opinion but isn't the first priority here to address the lack of utilities? No water,no lights,no refrigeration,no heat?? Three kids there... they need care, too!
Your friend is ill and does need help but is there a way you can get the other problem fixed first? Has it been fixed already?
she get's them from friends it's not a medicly needed thing. thanks for your pont of view, i really appericiate it.
I wish I could help, but since I am problems with Percs and have taken the Oxy's before I know where your friend is coming from. I feel like you support with her in the matter will be a help however it has to come from the person using. How does she obtain the meds, prescribed or some other way. I'm not sure but I would assume that when a Dr. prescribes that kinda narcotic pain reliever he also as a plan on how to wean the patient off of the med. I'm sorry I couldn't be more help, I'm actually looking for help myself. Good luck and be there for your friend throughout the tough process.
