hey I just wanted to let you know you are not alone. I have been taking hydrocodone for over a year. I am on hour 36 I am feeling pretty bad myself. I was so proud of myself making it to 32 I thought I would have no problems with this... amazing what 4 hours can do. I am trying to hang in there. I picked up a bottle of nyquil to attempt to sleep.. restless legs are killing me. I am also alone here. No one knows I am going through this. I hope you stick with it. I will try to hang in there as well..
Hi~ Just hang in there!! Also, you really need to get rid of all the pills in the house. They will call your name...
Keep posting~

Thanx Danny , and im on that track i still have alot of the blue pills all over the house how weird i remember now where they all are , but im glad 48 and then some are gone. I love this site but hate the train ride one must take to find it glad you are all here and my laptop is stuck on this site till the end people.
If you're already 48 hours into your detox I would definitely not recommend going back to your doctor and starting a weening regimen. Days one through four are the worst and you're already through the first two. Why blow that by going back on the pills and starting to wean?
That's just my opinion and everyone has to get sober in their own way. I just hate to see someone recommend to you that you should taper instead of just quitting especially when you're already through the first two days.
I noticed that an above post said that wd's can be dangerous to your health. In the case of Opiate withdrawals this is not true. You won't feel very well and you'll probably have diarrhea, restless legs, depression and a hard time sleeping. Luckily this will all be gone in a few days. Usually 7-10 or so. Then you'll be feeling a lot better.
If you decide to taper instead you'll prolong the entire thing. For many people that doesn't even come close to working. For others apparently it does work.
Opana will not help with the withdrawals I took them with at night after using vicodin during the day for abt 6 months and I felt no relief from it and I just stopped taking them and had no withdrawals... If I were u I would go to ur dr or the e.r and explain to them ur condition and how u feel the should give u an amount to start weening off if that's what u want. And best of luck
Wow. Alone? Why would you tackle that without help? 48-72 hours is the peak of withdrawls, but it can be dangerous to your health. You should be under medical supervision.
