ok you guys as i have sayed before i am a heroin addict and i am a methadone i have seen both worlds at such a young age and for you people on here that are scared to detox and you want to switch to suboxon or from suboxon to meth or from dope to meth or vics tometh or whatever have you is a complete waist of time they say its a opiate dependency but all they want is your money and as soon as you cant pay one time they dont care just get off all of it kick it cold turkey im sorry to say it but its the best way and the only way dont get hooked on one thing then another cuz your just delaying the process cuz one day your gonna sick of letting something control you waking up sick everyday and having to do dope or methadone or vics or what ever opiate your abusing to get right is not a way to live and im only 22 ill be 23 this friday and this is the best bday present i could give my self

I feel the same way, however I still feel like I'm in my own h3ll on day 16. the depression and crying has now kicked into high gear for me... I'll get thru it.. good insight on all of this!

Whooo Hoooo give that young man his due credit.  Well said!  I'm with you all the way.  Day 9 clean and no desire to go back.  Went cold turkey so I would never want to go through that again!

Very well said !! Cold turkey has been my only option, and to me the best. Today is day 8 from 18-20 hydros, and I have never felt better in my life. Had to go through hell to get here, now just have to keep facing whatever comes my way.
