seroquel and how well it worked

i've been struggling with lortab'xanax and alcohol.i'm trying to taper each one .i really got stuck when i got down to 7 lortabs.some body gave me a 100 mg seroquel last night,went to sleep about 10 pm,woke up at 9:30 this morning.i haven't.felt this good in 2 years. i took my meds this morning and feel great still,also haven't drank as much.i don't know much about this drug,does anyone know whats going on here.i've read about seroquel but never thought i would feel this good. i didn't do the whole thing either,maybe a third of it.

not only is it a good sedative,i was actually very relaxed today.the main thing is i followed my taper routine and then some.i need to know why this worked so good.i haven't slwpt that good in 2 years.WOW

I have also seen the effects of to much seroquel.. Affects motor skills speech and memory also has a tendency to build on it's self so make sure you have at least 8 or more hours between doses.. Take care lesa

At first seroquel was introduced as an anti-psychotic......in doses over 600mg times daily......  It was later discovered that in low dose (under 100mg) it was suppossed to be a good sedative.......................

yeah i'm a little sleepy today but its better than feeling like hell.i can't even imagine what awaits me

Seroquel made me too sleepy in the daytime. Plus, I've been seeing things on tv that might be bad(?) Not that you can believe everything you see or hear anyway, but I stopped taking them only because I couldn't stay awake.  I have taken them when I can't sleep on occasion, though.
