Norco

I had a disc replacement in May.  Before that I was up to 12 Norco a day.  Since then I have cut way back and really feel as Aleve would help me if I could take it ( have to wait 6 months)  The dr reduced the strenth, but now the problem is that I take one in the morning and with in a few hours I really start to feel bad, like I have the flu.  I get very emotional.  Sometimes I am able to get through it, and sometimes I just take another norco.  I only take about 3 a day.  Is this addiction or part of withdrawal?

I have been treated with Norco by a doctor after a fall, and few months latter I experience chest paid. Several months passed, I continue with chest pain. Today I was diagnosed with Atrial Fibrillation. Is there a correlation Noco/Atrial Fibrillation  and what is happening to me? Waiting for any one who has an explanation?

Thank you for your comments.  Weird thing is, yesterday I woke up and felt fine.  I gave my self permission to be lazy and watch movies.  I took one pill after I was up for about 4 hours and nothing after that.  Mood was good and still feeling good today.   I will see how it go's.  I really wish that I could just take the aleve if I start to feel crappy.

I was taking Norco and going from 12 to 3 is a HUGE jump down. Everytime I did a jump that intense I felt terrible. All the classic WD symptoms. It sounds like you are in control. My advice would be to get off the Norco ASAP!!!!! This is my day 3 off Cold Turkey and it has been the worst experience of my life. I would not wish this on my worst enemy. Not trying to scare you, only you and your Doctor know what is best for your treatment and to keep you from being in pain. Just be aware that if your dosage keep going up instead of down, you know you might have a problem. God bless!
