never said i was going to take the percs, just saying it would be hard to say no and asked if i did slip up if anything would happen. it was nice to know nothing will happen, that comforts me and gives me hope that there is no need to take them. i was not whinnying, i am an addict. i am not perfect. i do want my life back or i wouldn't be on this forum or started to sub to start. i called the dr and he said the buzz was from too much sub and decreased me. yesterday was tuesday and i took the sub this morning so no need to even consider them thanks to everyones advice. thank you for your honesty.

So, what did you decide to do? Did you get the percs or  did you leave them alone??

quit the sub.......get the pills.  You don't want to quit.  It really pisses me off when someone has the opportunity to save their a$$ like this.......got the sub which I hear does that and just pi$$ing it away whinnying.   You have your chance to do this as painless as possible........guess you need to learn the hard way..........You may have used up your get out of jail free card .......

Nauty.................

p.s.   yeah your buzzed cause your probably abusing it..........weren't you the one who almost od'd on it last night.........

It is not your imagination, Suboxone is a narcotic, and it is also used for pain.  For people not using it for detox, it would make them really high.  I started at a high dose too, and felt freakin loopy for a WHILE.  It was also making me feel sick, so I started taking 2mg/day and now I feel normal.  If you want this medication to work, you have to seek some sort of counseling or support to help with the cravings.  The medication is doing its job by not allowing you to feel withdrawals, now you have to do the rest.  It gives you a chance to get used to not being high, and readjust to life.  And it is designed so that if you slip up, you won't feel any effects.  Hang in there, and just try to enjoy not being in pain anymore and having your life back!

i think more than nothing happens - you get really sick - i mixed once & it was a mistake i nevvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvver made again.  puking sick - worst than any detox (but only lasted a few hours).

you probably are on a higher dose than you need.  i feel like i have typed this 5 times in the last 24 hours but i'll do it again:  when i started sub i also felt "too good" and my dr & i played with the dose to find out what was right for me just to feel OK.  it ended up being a very small dose actually (2 mg 2x a day).

lonote - have you mixed & not gotten sick????

Nothing will happen. You are taking something to block out the effects of the narcotic. NOTHING.
So why waste your time and money on Picking them up? You prob feel good on the Subox, because its doing its job, not  allowong you to go into w/d's. I bet you my last dollar you'll be wasting your time picking up the other shyt. Just my opinion. Been there, tried that. A big fat Zero, is what you will feel.
