HI Fefe...this is a really old thread so you might want to got to the top of the page and hit the "post a question" and start your own thread...that way more people can see and give you some advice....there are tons of caring supportive people here that can help you...i have no experience with snorting meds but other people on here can help..good luck!! and post that question.
I am in the same place except with hydrocodone. The pain is in the nose if you dont snort the hydrocodone. The pain is so bad you can not funtion and live a normal life. I have tried everything. I even went to the ER and have received no relief. The only thing that stops the nose pain and burn is to snort another pill. I am putting as little as possible up there, either a 1/4 or a 1/2 what ever works. I want to stop so bad but I cant even go to work if I dont do this and it only last about 2-3 hours. Does any one out there have any answers.
Hi there and welcome.First, the pain in your nose is definately from the tylenol in the vicodin.Try straight saline solution (nasal spray) to rehydrate the nasal cavity. It will work miracles!Give your nose time to heal...stop snorting vicodin...it's not worth it.How long have you been snorting vicodin?Good luck to you and keep uis posted!!~Anne
It is probably all that tylenol in vicodin that is burning the fire out of your nose..wow! You have got to stop that before you burn a hole right through your nose. I have heard of people snorting the drugs without tylenol but not vicodin ever. You need to take them by mouth until you are ready to stop using them period.
Someone with more knowledge about this will help you soon. lyn
What is causing the pain? Is it caused by snorting Vicodin?
HI & Welcome,
I am just a bit confused---is the pain in your nose from snorting or do you have pain and you are snorting to relieve it? Not that it really matters but I am just trying to understand where you are at and if the pain is from something else we can recommend and suggest things that have worked for us, i.e. alternative pain treatments.
