I did plenty of snorting. Methadone, adderall, morphine, oxys, all of them I guess. It's just like taking them orally. You will need more and more, or stronger meds. You are walking on a path that will lead you into much more pain than physical, trust me. Opiates only work for a while, then it's time to find another answer. I don't know what will work for you, but snorting opiates is not it. What's the plan when the snorting doesn't work, iv? There's no end to the game you are playing. Even if it does no physical damage, and you get meds that are more pure, you will not find long term physical relief. You will find long term problems in your life though. Are you interested in some of the other ways people here deal with pain? Would you like to get off opiates forever? We are here for you if you're interested.

Snorting your pills will make them hit harder because they are going right into your blood stream but you are playing Russian roulette by doing so . If I were you I would stop that before you end up in the emergency room my friend . Recent evidence has indicated that snorting pills with talc in them (i.e. any prescription pharmaceutical) can result in talcosis as well. Extended release pills contain talc as well as many other things that one probably would like getting directly into their blood. We are just learning now about the dangers of snorting 'regular' pills.

You need to take your pain meds as directed by your doctor.  Youmare on a very slippery slope right now.  If your stomach is upset, talk to your doctor and he can give you something for that.  Also, it sounds like you may have RSD.  The type of pain you're describing doesn't respond all that well to opiates.  Neurontin, Lyrica, Cymbalta are some meds that help some people with nerve pain.
