stole scripts,,need advise

I am very addicted to Vicodin, and I filled refills that belonged to my man's mom. The cops have found out. I am in recovery now, do you think I will be charged? I have already been charged for having scripts of my own that overlapped. Drugs have almost destroyed me, and I wonder how much legal trouble I am in now.

Oh my God!!!!!!! I am so sorry. What B.S. !!!!! I will pray for you. God will get you through this if you believe. I can't imagine what you are going through right now. Please let us know how things turn out. People make mistakes in this world. Your an addict, and they need to take that into consideration. Is probation out of the question? That's alot of charges. I wish you the best. Please keep me informed and let me know if I can help in any way. I send nothing but love your way!!!

More than likely you will not be charged b/c you are doing something to take care of your problem. However, consult a lawyer just to be on the safe side. I am assuming she is trying to press charges against you? If she's not, then don't worry. The state can try a case against you, but the judge really won't listen to it since the person you stole from is not holding it against you, and you are in the process of rehabbing. Believe me I know Vicodin can be addicting, but I also tell people it is a very beneficial drug for those who need it for medical purposes concerning pain. I used to pop 15 Vicodin a day and some Darvocet on top to kick me off. Let me know what your situation is concerning the charges and I can consult with my lawyer friend (one of my best friends from college) and try to give you more info. if you don't already have a lawyer. Good luck and keep us informed.
