Day 4 on Suboxone

Hello folks - Hope this finds you all doing well - or on your way to feeling well!

No questions today - just here to comment on how I'm feeling on Suboxone. (I'm coming off 160mg average Oxy/Vics).

Day 1 - I took 10mg. I could have taken more to feel better, but I wanted to take the minimum to make most of the WDs go away. I felt suprisingly well, considering having some WDs. By the end of the day, I was in a lot of pain (knees up to lower back) -- they were massive aches.

Day 2 - felt ok -- tried taking 4mg -- 1hr later took another 4 (total 8) -- day went decently well, minor WD's (minor cold sweats). Towards the late afternoon, I started to ache -- I took Clonidine - made the aches go away - but I couldn't stay awake. Sleep started getting bad (waking up every hour or so).

Day 3 - took 8mg -- felt decent physically - mentally, mildly blue (nothing major though) -- physically still feeling better. Tired, but probably lack of sleep -- sleep wasn't great tonight either.

Day 4 -- woke up feeling crappy -- suboxone took almost 2 hours before it worked (dropped to 6mg today) - had no energy/motivation until it kicked in -- afterwards felt ok - mood level a bit better than yesterday - but a bit grouchy today (could be bad sleep again). Started getting the cold sweats pretty bad, took clonidine - those went away, but I'm having a hard time keeping my eyes open again. heh

Anyway - just figured I'd journal a bit of my last few days. My week days are usually busy, but I'll try to keep everyone up to date, and hopefully be able to help someone else too. :)

Yes, the clonodine will make you sleepy.  Sounds like your doing pretty good. How long do you plan on staying on the Sub?
