subox with muscle relaxers...

i've been using oxycontin for the past few wks after i relapsed...

im going to quit again starting now pretty much...

i bought a couple suboxone pills (spelling?? ) and i have about 10 cyclobenzaprine 10 mg muscle relaxers.. (m 751 imprint code)

I'm going to try taking a fourth of a sub after i wait as long as i can with nothing, and try to space them out taking a quarter of a sub each time...

does anyone know if u can take the cyclobenzaprine with the sub??

also, regardless of the sub, do u thank that they muscle relaxer will help with withdraws??

i've never taken muscle relaxers much less this one, i just know my dad got these cyclobenzapr perscribed either for restless leg syndome or for a psyatic nerve??

i know its the weekend, but anyone with advice would be appreciated

You really have to take into consideration the fact of the significant brain changes that have occurred because of your opiate use.Opiates do not diminish pain whatsoever- they only trick your brain into not thinking you are in pain- the brain receptors get overloaded with pleasure senses and the drug has now overridden your natural capacity to deal with your pain.
I don't know if the muscle relaxers will do much to help.Yes, there are physical symptoms with withdrawal, and you can ease the suffering- but I tried many different methods(including muscle relaxers) to kick successfully, and none of them worked. The only success I have had is with professional treatment.

I looked up the cyclobenz ,and it seems like it has a very low addictive qualities too so that is good.  It is the same as flexeril I believe in case you want to look it up.  So it sounds like you have  a good plan with the sub and at least you know the cyclobenz is available in case you still experience sysmptoms after the sub.  With the cyclobenz, If you do use it can you post and let us know if it helps?  I also have some and was thinking to use it for RLS.

i really agree 2 pills will be fine but make sure you are in the severe w/d range before you take it ir it will be way worse than regular w/ds, from what i hear.

Go for it Sunshine ---- You should do fine -- but as far as the "Sub wars"  - they really weren't that bad -- just people expressing their opinions.  Seems like you got the message and already know about the addictive power of Sub --- so, with only 2 tablets you should do fine -- sounds like a pretty good plan.  Hope you do get to the bottom of the problem though, - figure out why you use so you don't have to go through this again.  I wish you well -- please continue to post and let us all know how it goes for you.  It's never a bad thing to share and let others who check out this site know your experience.  All the best.

You have been using for the past two weeks after being clean for how long?  How long did you use before  that?  My non expet addict self says to suck it up and withdraw now. Using more drugs to get off drugs has never been the successful route for me.
God Bless

you can take the sub that.  however, it would be much better if you got the sub under drs care.  as long as you are on the sub it should not be bad, but when you run out os those the cyclob may help a little bit.   good luck.
