suboxone treatment for tramadol addiction

Wooould a certified dr put me on suboxone for tramadol addiction? they say its not a narcotic but the withdrawls are as bad as narcotic withdrawls. anybody got any info on this... as far as the tramadol addiction goes it that considered a narcotic addiction?

LOL.. know how many time I do that? At least every single day of the week.. I find myself replying/commenting on posts from back years ago even! hehe..

Please do not use SUBOXONE to stop something like tramadol.

I used SUBOXONE 2 years ago to help w/d's from a 10 a day perc habbit.

The SUBOXONE w/d's were horrible and i tapered the right way.

The w/d's go on for weeks fron SUB.

I quit cold turkey (percs) 21 days ago and w/d only lasted 5 days.

I do not know what else to say.

I was on tramadol for years while being drug tested for opiates by the feds. Ultram did not show up. I found I could  get  a slight Vicodin like buzz for a few weeks, especially with a Soma or 2, neither of which showed uo on my drug tests. Then it would stop working so I would go off them for a few months, without any withdrawal symptoms at all, except maybe a little fatigue at first.

As far as a doc giving youSuboxone to get off Ultram I seriously doubt it. Besides which I have been on Suboxone about 3 years now for chronic pain. Anything else I will abuse. I have gone 3 days without just to see if I could stop( and keep in mind that it's half life is 36 hours, so is not out of your system for like 3 days). At this point I was completely dope sick. I have a friend that was on 2 mg a day. I am on 8 to 16 to 24. He kept breaking the pills in half and weened off, but he went through hell doing it. I see your last post was quite a while ago and hopefully you have addressed this issue already. If not feel free to contact me.
