I've been following for a month. I want to quit hydrocodone. I take up to 5/7.5 day. I have 15 pills left. is there a taper I can do from here?

Dar- You could take two per day for a week BUT you'll have withdrawal from that amount and then continue on with symptoms. It's far better in the long run to just bite the bullet and let them go. Tapering doesn't work for most people.  You'll have symptoms which are manageable with OTC's. Beyond that,so much of it is mental.

So,get your mindset and just do it! You may want to get with a doctor for assistance. There are some rx's that can help the process.

I'm sure you've read all about the importance of fluids,good food,minerals,Immodium,
etc...

Please, I've taken these pills for years for pain. I want to quit more than help the pain. I tried cold turkey, backslided. I now have 14 pills. Is there taper suggestions?
