good luck to you. I hope you stick to it..and know everyone on this site is pulling for u. CT is hard..it was the hardest thing i ever did...and don't look forward to ever doing it again. The taper is a good thing for those that can do it. But, like some others have said..it's kind of dragging out the wds. But hang in there...

Oh there has been a ton of discomfort. And anxiety. And craving. But I am so scared to try CT and fail. Failure is not an option. I have too much to lose. And this os the.plan that my doc and I have worked out so im sticking with it.

You are well on your way getting clean.  Be diligent with your taper though because one or two days not following your taper will set you back.  How much are you currently taking?  What are you taking?  The reason I ask is because you might want to consider jumping off now from your current taper.  I have tried several times to taper and usually made it a few weeks sometimes but always seem to give myself a "Relief Day".  I am a huge supporter of the cold turkey method.  Many on here will give you the analogy of ripping off a bandaid vs. slowly ripping it off.  The pain is more severe but a lot shorter.  You should also be drinking a lot of water right now, along with vitamins, supplements, and getting some mild exercise.  All of these will help your body re-adjust to the loss of opiates faster and that is all detox basically is.

Good luck and keep posting.....We are all rooting for you!

HI Congrats on working your way off the stuff and yes if your nose is starting to get runny your experiencing withdrawal symptoms ....tapering requires discipline and perseverance you dont bypass the withdrawals you just spread them out so there not as sever but there will be days when you will feel tired and sore from it anxiety is common and I tell everyone ''you just got to be ok without being ok for a wile'' you will get threw it ....keep doing what your doing and just know there will be some discomfort as you go along keep posting for support good luck and God bless......Gnarly
