I dont know whst to do my wife had surgry a year a go s the dr give oxcy 10 mg I also take them I take like 4to 5 a day never more im ok with oyt too but she will steel mine znc take likev20 at one time she also take my 2 mg xanx I take like a quarter a day she will take ten some time she lies zbout she starts buying cheap vodca and drink behind my back im not beinh nice to her I talk to her she promise shecwill stop I hold her rx but she look for them and find them she lost her job now dhe is in school she doesn't go to school are life is living hell pleaee let me know if any one no how to get help we live in tampa no health insurance how to get help

I agree with the others that it sounds like you both have an addiction problem.  I too hope you both decide to get some help with that.  It can be tough when two people have an addiction problem at the same time, as it's hard to focus on yourself and not worry about the other.

By the way, it can be harder to get off Xanax than Oxycontin.

oxy is the worst drug for long term pain. I dont know if you have pain. You did not say. Oxy has a 2 hour half life which means it goes out of your body really fast and you build up a tolerance really fast too. I would suggest to switch to a longer lasting med and taper off and quit. eventually oxy will do nothing for u no matter how u take. Been there done that.

Yes, it sounds as if you are both addicts. You must be buying these pills on the street. If you can afford that, you can afford to pay a doctor to get help.
