starting day 4 clean

I took everyones advice and kept going c/t instead of trying to taper! I still feel really down. What does everyone think about clonodine for w/d?

Hey, almost day 7 here.  I did the ct. I wasn't able to get any bp meds. And that's probably a good thing, I don't think I ever really needed it.  I took a ton of vitamins, (lots of C and B's), hot tea, electric blankie, advil when I needed it.  I made it this far and feel so much better. REALLY.  I know it sounds so far off, but it happens before you know it.  Just keep it up. It WILL get better!

Clonodine is a blood pressure medicine. And it's not in the first line of what they give you for bp problems. It's what they give you when the diuretic kind doesn't work. So- in short, I think it would help you thru WDs but then you will have to go thru the hassle of going to a Dr office and explaining I need bp meds because I am a drug addict.- unless you already have it somehow- and then I'm not sure the appropriate dose to take- and you are going to alter your bp. I agree with Chi- if you're 4 days, stick it out, prob only a few days more of physical problems for you. I'm proud of you too

I've heard Clonodine helps but you are 4 days into CT just keep going. You are going to feel like poop for a while you know that. I know it doesn't help when you are in the middle of it, If you feel like you want to go to your doctor for clonodine or other help go but you are push along keep going!!! Very proud of you !!!
