to all about stomach and intestinal cramping

Hi guys..day 4 here! I am noticing a lot of people suffering from pain an cramping during detox.Though this medicene is perscribed to me specifically because I have Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative coltis..I have heard it used for detox as well.
It is called Bentyl and it completely relieves the cramping and pain due to the digestive tract going on a rampage in w/d.
Don't know how many of you have a doc or ins.I don't have ins..but I still have to see a doc.The Bentyl is fairly cheap and Target and Wallmart have it under their new script drug plan for those without ins for 4.00$
I take 10 to 20 Mg and it has saved me in the w/d big time.It has a few little side affects, but nothing like the dang cramping and pain many of you are experiencing. It's also non narcotic..non addictive and gives you no change in your mental state.
K..I gotta go...thanks dfr for your post back!
Talk to you guys soon
Blessings

YES< YES< YES!!!  I posted this info back in February.  I think this is the MIRACLE medicine.  It will save your life, if you are going through W/D's, have IBS, or Crohn's.  Trust me, I lived on it every time I ran out of my meds.

BENTYL totally freakin rocks!

The stomach cramps in w/d are due to your large intestine starting to move again. When opium was first introduced, it was given OTC to children and adults for diarrhea, cough, and pain. Opiates are terrific for diarrhea b/c it slows or paralyzes the smooth muscle in the gastro Intestinal tract (mainly the large intestine and colon) hence the constipation while taking them and the diarrhea when you stop suddenly. Now we have better medication for diarrhea but opiates are still typically the first line of short term treatment of cough as it does the same thing to the lungs as the intestines.

Dicyclomine (bentyl) relaxes the smooth muscle in the intestines by blocking certain natural substances in the body without slowing or paaralyzing the smooth muscle like opiates do so it can be very successful in patients in w/d from opiates.
