120 mg Percocet / 75mcg fentanyl patch

I have had 5 stomach surgeries since 2006,  I have been on percocet since then. I have been taking 80 - 120 mgs (more than the Dr. ordered) and have become addicted to them. I just want to know if I put a 75mcg Fentanyl patch on is there any chance I could OD? I have made an appointment with a treatment facility , I just don't want to go through withdrawal any more.   :(

You asked the question so I am answering it.  I am not saying at all that u should do it!  I am prescribed 100mcg Fentanyl every 72 hrs. plus 30mg morphine 4 times a day.  Now I have a really extremely high tolerance for medication.  There have been times I have been in so much pain and I didn't want to hurt any more that I puit on 2 patches and took 210 mgs of moriphine at one time.  I am in no way suggesting you do this but different people have different tolerances
Please think about it before you try anything u could very well OD and is it really worth it?\
Let me know what you decided

Good choice, that fentanyl is possibly the hardest detox of all. It is the strongest opioid on the planet, way stronger than subs or methadone. If you can make it till the appointment that would be best. I always used street methadone, so ending the self-medicating is a huge step and very necessary. Keep us posted on how it goes.
