script fraud

I go to court tomorrow for prescription fraud,  I am a first time offender, I went to to detox and am in a IOP program- does anyone know what i could be facing?

What do you have to offer all these people hurting and asking for help if all beach has to offer is full of it? You only tear down with out any advise of your own. It there is a better way please share it, is all i am saying. People need positve feedback and they may only look here once for it.

wouldn't matter how long i had i still wouldn't boast as much as others do. He still hasn't explained why he was allowed to speak with such little clean time which shows he's full of ****.

Thanks, just reading and learning my way though. I know as an addict i do not like time lines put on me. I dont like when i am asked what my short tern and long term plans are for recovery. And didnt like when i wanted to taper and get off, i could not and did not answer that, because i wanted it on my terms. I do feel sorry for those who go to jail and their quit date is made for them and most make, some dont, it''s hell for all in there. Addicts want this comfort zone around them. I think some people cant take the direct questions that beachtowel gives and it offends their spirit, more so if they are still using. The longer you are clean the easier the questions become to answeri, It has for me every time i have tried to quit for the last 38 yrs using.

I came to this site as others have to find people who have shared the same mistakes that i have in drug abuse and who has found a way to quit and put some time in front of them away from drugs and has improved their lifes and can help and show me how to improve mine. Who on this post has more time sober than beachtowel and would you please list what you have done since you have quit. Put up or Shut up! This is life or death for some here, so keep petty remarks that help no one away from here please. I am 9 days clean.

Oh I am very happy. Just stating the obvious. I am aware that one cannot speak at a convention for N/A with only 20 months of clean time. Thats is why it's kind of odd to me that he has so many N/A accolades, and has a degree in addiction studies and all that. With his "credentials" it's just not fair to some who are really taking some of his advice to heart. But hell thats okay. I just like to call bull **** on him from time to time. No harm done... :)

If your religious then you can see this as God giving people what they need.Many times I"ve seen people with long,long active addiction then get a few mos clean and  think they can save the world. Problem is that if he said half that stuff to "oldtimers" with clean time and recvory he',,,,well it just wouldnt fly. He said he spoke in front of 500 or 800 people,,Hell in na you cant even speak at a convention without 5 yrs.So,,what do you do? You find a place where folks dont really know anything,,,they learn some stuff,,his esteem is up there and everyones happy,cept you and you need to work on that

Lemme guess you want to know how old he is to claim he's a child because someone is questioning your bull **** once again. Christ let's see now you are going to say that you studied 4 years of college to be a lawyer, and that you worked for a judge, and that you know the legal system perfectly because you have read every single law book ever written..blah blah blah. And all that while you were still addicted to drugs, just like you did everything else. I've never heard of an addict with only 20 months clean time who has accomplished so god damn much in addiction studies and whatever else degree you claim to have. I really wonder what kind of a sad man you are in real life.

And now you will say, "thats the addict talking, you are evil, you are miserable yadda yadda yadda  because you disagree with the great and powerful beachtowel".

I am not giving you legal advice, for that you should definately get an atty if you can afford one. If you have agreed to enter some pretrial diversion program (or you have an opportunity to elect to enter one as an alternative to trial)  - in Florida its called Drug Court- you shouldn't face any significant jail time if at all.  You will probably get at least a year's probabtion together with submission to random drug testing etc.
