trying to get off roxi and hydros

my brother is trying to get off roxi and hydros but cant handle the withdraws is there anything a dr v can give him to help

hi and welcome back i remember your posts from a few months ago. you brother can handle the withdrawals many, many,many people do. he has to want to detox. i see he has been struggling for a year already. what do you want the doctor to give him? another pill to detox from the pills he is on. if he sticks with the detox the worst if over in about 5 to 7 days. i think you were already given the supplies in earlier posts to help make him more comfortable. the toxins and poisons need to be cleansed out of his system and this takes time. did you try and call social services where you live and find out if there is rehab that are subsidized by the county or state? you could also try teen challenge .
i know you are trying to help him and have been. is he trying to help himself? as addicts they are using looking for the easy way out and that would be take another pill to ease the withdrawals. he just needs to buckle down, get the supplies and grin and bear it for awhile.
he shoudl go to na/aa,counseling,therapy, to help in this process of recovery
