A few OTC meds that help aid with the withdrawls are benadryl it helps aid with sleep and anxiety also immoidum(loperamide) for runs and believe it or not will help aid the withdrawl in higher doses(ive read stories of heroin addicts using a loperamide taper withdrawl program) of course some tylenol or ibuprofen for pain just to name a few.I have read info that the loperamide was orignally designed to be a very strong narcotic in fact its molecular structure is very similar to fentynal but it doesnt cross the blood brain barrier like opiates do so its only used for its constipation type effects much like other opiates. I have taken it on many occasions for withdrawl (12mg+)and while it wont ease it completly it does really help and if it is a placebo effect..well hell I felt better so who cares!
I as well have picked up the bible, never have before in my life. How ever as long as I can do 120 hours clean I have a sponson that is making it possible to get into a top facility that I would not have been able to afford. If the bible can help in anyway I am willing how ever. Do the liquid multivitamins work better really?
As for never having to do the first day again, that is truly a great feeling. 1 down 4 to go
Hi there ! again congrats on the 23 hours ! You will never have to do the first day again. The second time I detoxed from vics and oxy I went natural. Hot baths, stearm room, my dogs walked me (I just hung onto the leash and went for the uncomfortable therapy) I got multi vitimans in liquid form so they would absorb faster, bonemeal (don't know why but someone said they would help and they were cheap0 lots of water (the toxins need a vehicle to excape your body) antixoidants like green tea or blue berries etc lots of information that says we should continue daily with them. Post Post Post DONT pick up like I did after 2 weeks and go thru the first 4 days again. YUCK!! But most importantly to me was Prayer. I also read my Bible because I believe there is power in the Word
Love and Peace
