Day 44 and still going strong.

I don't have much activity on here so just wanted everyone to know I'm still doing life clean at 44 days. No walk in the park but way better than the high life. Worth it for sure! Life still isn't where I would like but after all I've done to bring myself down it will take a lot of hard work to get back where I want to be. I understand this but still find it difficult at times. Sleeping very well... 7-8 hours a night. Depression is only mild and due to things which I'm working to fix. No physical symptoms other that still fighting the urge to eat everything in sight. To all the people wanting to quit or in early stages.... It can be done and its well worth it!! The feeling of accomplishment and clear mind and soul is a great reward! The one thing I suggest which I haven't been able to do is N/A Meetings. I'm still to shy to go. Maybe one day once I feel more comfortable. This site has been the best thing to happen to me to encourage me to get and stay clean. No judgements, great advice, and awesome people. Will try to start helping others and posting more soon. xoxo to all those who've helped in this long journey to clean living.

One day at a time.....
Don't be shy about meetings. Everybody feels the same way in the beginning. Take that step of faith you will be glad you did.

Thank you everyone. Each day brings new challenges and I'm realizing they are more easy to handle with a clear head. Before I thought I could only handle them with pills but now I see I was only ignoring them and bringing new ones into my life.
