Do NOT give someone a benzos such as Ativan right after smoking crack. This is terrible for there heart and can kill them. Wait a few hours at least or just give them something OTC that's not a benzo.

I know it is very common to give ativan in the er. I dont believe any OTC drugs would help,  goodluck
