when does it stop?

After 3 years of continuous Vicodin addiction, I have stopped.  Today is day 21.  I went thru hell and now the withdrawl symptoms are tolorable but I still can't sleep at night due to horrible leg cramps.  In you guys experience when will this go away?

3 weeks!!!  Congratulations......that is awesome!
I don't know when they will go away for good......I still get them off and on.  It definitely gets better though.  Sleep will come back slowly and as it did for me, I don't seem to need as much sleep as I used to.  Try Valerian and Melatonin....they will help you relax and sleep.
Hang in there.....you are doing this!!!  Be proud of yourself!!!

I was on vic's for ten years and I have been clean 11 mths now....I to went through H E L L  but I will tell you for me it got better but it did not happen overnight....it took me months for the night sweats and the leg cramps to go away but it does go away...it may not be that long for you because i was on them alot longer than you....you will notice as time goes by that it will get better, you might want to try Hylands RLS you can get it at Walmart I heard this help with the cramping....also take a nice warm bath with epsom salt before bed and soak those legs...remember you were on them for 3 years so it will take a little time to get things back to normal,..Hang in there trust me it does get better.....shine
