any one use lidocane patches

I'm going on 6 weeks of being clean well Friday will be 6weeks. Today I went for my check up on me and the baby and I've been having issues with my cyatic nerve and I told him since he knows what I just went through getting clean so I dont lose my children when the baby is born that I didn't want any pain killers that would get me hooked and he gave me the patches. 12 hours on 12 hours off. Do they help? Im gonna go get them soon and wanted to know what to expect. But other than that for those of you that have been following me and my journey he said baby is doing great and my blood pressure is back to normal my weight is great I've actually gained 15pds since my last visit and said one last ultra sound next month to try and get one last look at the baby and estimate his birth weight which he is Very on point with or has been with my previous two. Other than that things are looking better and being sobber is amazing but there is days that I wish I could just have one to stop the pain but not gonna chance nothing. Hope everyone is doing ok and getting over the fight its well worth it in the long run.
