willing to be a sounding board

More then a question I am a 32 year old female with working of five years of sobriety. I have been in and out of the system and rehab and finally a achieved ssucess through methadone therapy. I have been 100% sober off Methadone since January. I'm
willing to be a sounding board or help guide those that are struggling with their disease.

Hi Casey,
   It's funny you posted this and you're exactly who I'm looking for. :) I've been off pills for months now. I feel ok. I'm gaining weight blah blah blah but NO PILLS! :) That does make me happy. I do have one question...does the energy ever return? I'm having the hardest time waking up in the morning sometimes. I feel drained all the time. It does come and go, but most of the time I'm just drained. I've tried all of the vitamins and drinks but nothing is "perking me up." I don't have insurance and zero extra money so I've basically be trying to fix myself. Do you know of anything that really helps with energy? Like I said, I've tried almost everything.
   Oh, congrats by the way. I can't wait until I've been sober for a year! :)

Yes I still do recovery services. Without that I wouldn't have a place /person to vent to. This helps me with my sobriety cuz when the going got tough I got high which is not the way to go ya know. After care is quite important for success.

That is great .Do you still do long term recovery .We need more people posting like you that have gone and have had postive experances
