Everyone is different but I just went off percs fast - like 12-14  day to 1 -2 a day to nothing and maybe it's me, but I am fine. I felt a bit weird, no bad withdrawals though. Just get a lot of rest, and take care of yourself. You may feel like ****, but you actually may not feel all that bad.
I don't know, everyone is different. I am on celebrex now for my back pain which is non- narcotic so maybe that helped, but I still feel weird. I don't think I'm through the worst of it, but so far so good. For me, it's all mental, like I would love to take more, but I won't. I'm off. Don't be scared, you'll make yourself sick. 6-8 a day is not much, think about people who are on 120 mg oxy 2-3 times a day - that'll make you sick!
good luck!

Welcome.  You probably are going to be experiencing some physical w/d later this afternoon.  Anxiety, hot/cold flashes, that will probably start today.  You may not get much sleep tonight, and by tomorrow you will have aches/pains and the runs.  Read up on the thomas recipe and get what ingredients you can.  Start the vitamins ASAP, they will help.  If you're going to be 2 days into w/d by the time you get your next Rx, might as well not even fill it, or you'll be going through this again.  I know it's scarey, but after about day 5 you'll start getting your energy back and be nearly done w/the physical stuff.  The neurontin may help with the aching and perceived increase in pain, but you'll still have the w/d i'm afraid.  It is not an opiate so once your drug levels decrease, those receptors won't be filled w/the neurontin.

Hi there, weird, I just answered a post about neurotin. I'm not going to lie to you, it does help very well, HOWEVER it is NOT to be used for withdraw. The problem is that you take it for a day or two to help your W/D, and then stop it. This medication, when abruptly stopped COULD cause seizures. So you need to be extremely careful. I would not recommend taking it for other things that it is not intended for.

Sorry, I know it's tempting to take, but for your health, please don't.
