withdrawal

my question is are there any medicines that will help with hydrocodone withdrawal? i have been taking lortab for 5 years and every time i try to stop i get so sick i can t bear it. i have had 3 back operations to try and fix the problem, but now the biggest problem is addiction and withdrawal.i have small children and cant be laid up. i need help desperately and any thing you can tell me will be greatly appriciated..

     I wanted to begin by saying that it took alot of courage for you to write what you did. I was addicted to pain pills also for 5 years I took Vicodin, Lorcet,Fiorinal with Codiene & I know the withdrawels. I know how sick you feel & it's like you have to take the pills just to be normal & to function. I had to go into treatment & I know that sounds awful & you think no way not me, but this is an addiction & if you try to do this on your own you could have a seizure or die. That is what I was told the first day I went to the hospital because you r heart rate goes up. I don't know where you are but the hospital I went to was Intracare North [phone] I know they have places everywhere. It takes only 7 days to detox.. I hope I helped you! God Bless You...
