6 days today

Highs and lows sucking bigtime.  Sometimes it just seems like it's not even worth it all.

6 days is great.  I'm 34 days clean today..  Those first 2 weeks were really tough. Try and fight the fatigue and the mental demons even ifs its 1 minute or 1 hour at a time,
I pomise by day 20 you will be feeling so much better. Don't get me wrong I still get the cravings but they are getting less and less everyday..If I can do it..you can to..

Good Luck and Keep Posting

Well since I believe this site has helped me this far I will stick around here for some aftercare :)
it works for me so far. And I am not at a point that I think I can do any face to face NA stuff or anything. This place I am ALWAYS on. I have you all in my pocket 24/7 on my iPhone from where I always post. That is why my typing is so bad :). I was even checking the site at the mall last night while my GF was getting her hair cut. Without this place I would not have come this far I know. I have finally admitted that I am a highly addictive person and now I just turned the addiction to here :)

Try and slow down a bit here.  Take one thing at a time.  Most of us understand the financial ruin this addiction causes but staying on track with your recovery will be the most important thing here.  Someway, somehow it all works out in the end.  Call the companies you are behind with and be honest with them.  It seems that is something they arent real used to and most are willing to set up some sort of plan.  I fully understand this part, i really do and it is a very sinking feeling but there is light at the end of the tunnel.......sara

I'm sure the fallout is having a lot to do
with it. It's like my brain and soul want to be me again and I am but then it's like oh hell look what   I destroyed and what's hanging in the balance. Finaces are in ruin, jobless, house is in jeapordy all bills behind and more. It's just THAT stuff that gets overwhelming and helps sink me I guess.

I'm glad to read there are highs in there.. congrats on day 6 as sara said hang in there it takes awhile for our minds and body's to heal.. we did not poison them for just a few days but for a long while.. get outside if you can and get your endorphins flowing with some walking.. it is surprisingly uplifting.. and keep a good attitude.. You have done something that some find impossible.. you are freeing yourself and thereby everyone who loves you from active addiction.. Now what can be better then that !! Whoo Hoo lesa

One day one hour at a time. It's like I will feel great then just bottom out. Depressed, adgitated, aggressive, snappy, pouty, withdrawn, moody , low energy, hopelessness : /
blaaaah. But as least there are HIGHS nixed in there I guess that's a positive.

Yes it is worth it so keep fighting.  We have abused our minds and bodies and it takes awhile for it to regroup.  This is a time thing now and we have a tendenacy to be very impatient.  I know this suks big time but it really will get better.  You are doing great!!  6 days is fantastic.  Stay in this now, try and keep busy and push thru this.  You can do it!!      sara
