How do you taper off Fioricet without codeine?

Please help!  I need to get off Fioricet (without codeine) completely after 20 years taking it.  What is the best way to taper down?  Is there a recommended schedule?  I've gotten down to 2 a day but did it fast and never got it out of my system, never gone a day without it.

Sorry I didn't give you enough information.  I've been able in the past to get down to 2/day but went back up to 10+/day.  Every time I try to get off them I do it too fast and never get it totally out of my system.  What would be a tapering schedule to follow from 10/day down to zero and get off them for good?  I've also read about vitamins to take that help with the process (?)  I get the fioricet on the internet so I need to do this on my own.  And I know I can do it!

You have done a good job at tapering and I do hope that the doctor who prescribed the Fioricet is also guiding you through it. You can go slower now to 1.5/day for a few days and then 1 pill /day for a few days and then  half. Talk to your doctor to make sure that you have an alternate strategy to address your headaches.
