You may be able to wean off of tramadol after you taper off the Norcos, but you are right to be cautious. Tramadol is making your withdrawals easier because it is an opiate itself, so you are truly going from apples to apples.
In fact, Tramadol may be quite difficult to quit, but if you are committed to it and determined, you can quickly space them out until they are done. Because you have not been on them long they may not have had a detrimental long lasting effect on your serotonin system, so you should not have too much depression.
Please read my blog that has to do with the Tramadol misuse,etc...It has a lot useful information, but the most interesting part of it, are the comments that were left by the readers. Please take time to read those.
Unfortunately we get plenty of patients in our clinic with addiction to Tramadol, so by no means is it a benign drug. Use it sparingly and be careful. Good luck to you.
Tramidol will be easier to come off of I think you have a good plan just work it, my earlier comment still apply I do pray for you success
