Dear Iris,
If all you are taking is half a pill every night, I can assure you that you are not experiencing physical withdrawals, but psychological ones. You may be feeling anxious for other reasons and that might be a cause of your sleeping difficulty as well. But at that dose, this medication is extremely unlikely to cause either addiction or any sort of withdrawal.
It is concerning though that you have no one to talk you problems out with. Please see a therapist that can sort your issues out with you, because I can assure you that there are some. Half a pill of Gravol a night is not your main concern though and you should not focus on it. If you do not wont to take medications, just stop and work on your issues through with some talk therapy, meditation, yoga or other modes of therapy. Exercising, eating healthy and staying away from all caffeine after 12 noon can also reduce anxiety and help sleeping patterns. Good luck to you.
P.S. Please get back to me if you take any more Gravol than recommended, since in higher doses it can be dangerous and even lethal.
Thanks. That's helpful. It makes me feel better knowing that half a pill won't do that I was so worried. Can not eating healthy cause anxiety too? Or no? I didn't know caffeine causes anxiety.
Yes. Too much sugar & caffeine can cause anxiety.
Well I guess I should cut back on the sugar
