My ob knows and wants me off completely by 32 weeks I'm supposed to be tapering but keep getting back to 1-2 mg because w/ds are so bad and I have a high maintenance3 year old son I can't take care of him when withdrawing and turn into a mean person and yell at everyone when I try to skip a day like doc wants me too. But I'm gonna taper as much as I can and then jump at 32 weeks. I'm high risk due to history of preterm labor last two pregnancies delivered at 35 weeks. Will baby still have side effects at birth if I'm off at 32 wks and will baby test positive for it just curious dont know if they will even test her for drugs. Haven't taken anything besides my prescription and have been honest with ob I'm in louisiana will OCS be called due to my history of abusing drugs I didn't use anything with my other two children

It is possible to have a baby while on Subutex, but even on a low dose, there is a likelihood that baby may experience withdrawals , especially if you do not breastfeed.  If you do breastfeed on Subutex, baby will be tapered slowly from it as it weens from the breast.
Otherwize, withdrawals from Subutex are very unpleasant and may keep the baby in the NICU and away from your loving arms for many days.
I suggest that you read my blog on pregnancy and addiction that talks more about it. Click on my name in blue and then "blogs".
Good luck to you and make sure you discuss all of this with your OB. They must be in the loop on all your medical care.
