mother of 2 needs help in a town where there is none

im a single mother i have a new born baby and a 10 year old..i live in a town where there seems to be no help for addiction..i have only medicad and nothing eles..the docs here that even perscibe them wont help u get off the only thing i have found is they will give u 2 weeks worth and say here u go take it like this till gone then after that dont come back...that is it..i have been on these for 12 years now i cannot even get out of bed without at least taking 2 lortabs 7.5/500..if i do not have them then i take tramdol..usally 3 at a time..but alot through the day..they make me sick to my tummy but yet keep me from getting dope sick..and if i have none of them..then i find myself buying them..and i can go through alot fast..i cannot functtion or take care of my kids or like i said even get out of  bed with out them..i need help and there is no one to help...i would be happy to provide the city and state i live in through private e-mail..if anyone can help me..want to be clean but cant..ive even tryed to do it at home..it just doesnt work need profesanl help

I AM HAVING TROUBLE WITH CONSTIPATION FOR LAST 3 MONTHS GOT DEPENDANT ON VICODIN AFTER SUEGERY WHAT IS THE PROPER WAY TO CURE MY CONSTIPATION I HAVE TRIED LOTS OF FIBER COLACE EVEN TOOK A COUPLE OF DULCOLAX BUT IM SCARED TO TAKE LAXATIVES CUZ U CAN BECOME DEPENDANT ON YHEM. WHICH IS THE PROPER WAY TO FIX THIS MESS. I AM NOT A DRUG ADDICT JUST A REGULAR OLD MAN WHO GOT CAUGHT IN THIS LIVIHG NITEMARE PLEAS HELP ME GOD BLESS

i never had a doctor help me in this town where im from there is none they just leave it to you..they put people on this stuff and then when someone like me gets hooked they want to be like sorry dont know what to tell you..we cant help u no more..they dont even think abot the mental or physcail part of coming off these it is to much..its awfull i wouldnt wish this on my  worst enemy

A few thoughts-- there are a couple directories that find doctors who prescribe Suboxone-- try www.naabt.org or www.suboxone-directory.com.  Also try my site-- www.suboxforum.com-- you'll find a section where people can ask for help in specific geographic regions.

When you find a doctor, be sure to value the chance to stay off opioids.  Nothing is more frustrating for doctors than to see people finally get a spot in a program-- and then refuse to follow the rules.  I do not mean to suggest that you did anything like that-- just pointing out that many docs have a 'one strike' policy.  I don't agree with that, but there is nothing I can do about it.
