subuxone after lortab (hydrocodon)

Hello,i was on subuxone for two months. I was taking 2mg once a 24 hours.Then i got surgery friday morning and start taking lortab and darvon . It doesn't really help with pain. My question when i can start take subuxone again after darvon and lortab 12 hours or 24 hours? Will subuxone work for pain ? I got knee surgery ACL reconstructive . Thanks in advance..

I can't make promises, but usually, 12 hours would be sufficient for weak opiates like darvon or lortab.  Suboxone will likely be a more potent analgesic than either of those medications.  Make sure you are absorbing the medication adequately;  I recently wrote a long post on optimizing absorption of Suboxone at my blog, l SuboxoneTalkZone.com.

Thank you very much. I just really in bad pain. since i was addict to heroin , i have huge tollerance and pills don't work. I took sub 2 hours ago and feelmuch better. I took 2 mg and have les pain then with 4 lortab. Also,idon want tokill my liver by tylenol frompain pills. Also, thanks for you blog and post about absorbtion. I noticed that if i swalled  saliva to fast i start having bad headache. So it is very usefull info. Do you think i should swallow saliva after keeping 15 min in mouth?

i wandering why  doctors don't use for pain managment. I really feelmuch better after suband i took just 2 mg. I was taking 4 pills of lortab and 2 of darvon in one time and still  felt bad , now i am much better

Also,what you think will be good dosage for anlegsia ? Originally i got 60  pills 8 mg each, since i don't have money go to doctor i splitt each pill and take 2mg one time aday and waspretty happy about it. Should i take more or it will not help
