Adrenal Gland

I have a question I am a 31 yr old male and have been having problems since end of summer 2009. At first I thought it was low blood sugar then I realized my blood pressure was getting extremely high and after several trips to the er & doctors they found my cortisol level is high and catecholamine level is very high and vit D level very low. So they did a ct scan with and without contrast last thursday. They found nodules on my left adrenal gland and nudules on my right lung. Waiting on the endo doc to call me back. Does anyone know what exactly does that mean?

Hi there,

Iam also a 31 yr. old male with similar condition.  Started off with extreme insomnia, then anxiety followed by probably depression (dont know first time having it).
I of course have a family doctor keep telling me my tests are fine and referred me to a pyschiatrist!
I personally want to get some extensive tests done too to find the root cause.  Please let me know how it goes......!

Sounds like it could be a few things going on there - let us know what the doctor says.

My dad has been going through similar problems and his docs are pretty convinced that he has a rare condition called Pheochromocytoma.  This may be something to consider.  Good luck with your treatment.

A friend of mine had a lot of the same things and they found sarcoidosis.  It's an autoimmune thing and he's been doing great with treatment.
