Yes, as that lab is not known to be reliable - as well even if you bring in test from a reliable lab, they always want to repeat their own tests. Hopefully though the doc will see this as an opportunity so test and not just close her eyes.
Do you bring pictures to show body changes, a list of symptoms? Cortisol disorders are difficult to diagnose - often they are concurrent with low D, low Fe,...
I don't take any medicines that would effect my cortisol. I have an Endo, I did these tests myself. I ordered from ZRT.
I have an appt. in 2 weeks to see her, will take the results with me. I have a feeling they will be dismissed.
You are showing a loss of diurnal rhythm in these tests (what lab?) and that can indicate Cushing's syndrome.
However, one set of tests is not enough to get diagnosed and it does not show source (pituitary, adrenal or other such as taking corticosteroids like inhaler prednisone etc). Elevated cortisol suppressed the thyroid and can make it difficult to regulate the thyroid.
So you should go see an endo - but get a good one (it may take a while) so you can get the testing you need to go on to a neuro-endo if need be.
