Do I have adrenal fatigue???

Do I have adrenal fatigue???

I have been having symptoms of adrenal fatigue, so I bought and took a test from the ZRT lab to test my cortisol 4 times daily through a saliva test. Here are my results:
Morning- 4.1 (range is 3.7-9.5)
Afternoon- 1.3 (range is 1.2-3.0)
Evening- 1.2 (range is .6-1.9)
Night- .4 (range is .4-1.0)

This is within normal range, but on the very low end. Is this considered adrenal fatigue, enough to produce symptoms and perhaps not be able to tolerate thyroid hormone? Or, is it "normal"?? Thanks!

You appear to be borderline IHMO. A silly doctor, however is just going to see IN RANGE and ignore you... a good one will see the trend down and if you have outward symptoms, should give you a stim test to see if the adrenals are functioning.

I take thyroid... I am not a proponent of that school.

How do you feel?  Are you stressed?  Is your diet bad?  Eat lots of sugar, or ingest lots of caffeine?  As for me, I have had tons of major stressors the past 10 years, and my adrenals finally crashed, but there are lots of levels in between.  Google Dr. Michael Lam and read about the levels.  Now I am having to really work hard to build the adrenals back up.  Isocort, phytonutrients, high levels of C, lots of emotional work, etc.  My main symptoms are shortness of breath due to downregulated body systems, extreme fatigue, and insomnia.  Before, though, I have had a myriad of symptoms.  The tests don't tell you much.  Just what you might be at that given time.  Go by how you feel.  I also found that with the adrenal problem, comes hypoglycemic symptoms if I don't eat small frequent meals during the day.  This is typical of later staged adrenal fatigue.  I check my blood sugar every a.m. now.   The first time I checked it it was 65, and normal is like 70 - 125.
