If you have abnormal sodium and potassium readings in your regular tests, then odds are the adrenals are involved (or you drink too much water).
If you crave salt, have a tan and have lost weight - odds are adrenals. Or went on a diet and went to the beach... :) It is really hard to say!
Thanks! Just looked at your reply; I have (no) thyroid because of thyroid cancer.
TSH suppression is the goal of treatment in my case. They want it undetectable, when blood work is done.I agree with you on the fatigue, it could be anything. I don't know much about the adrenals?

Fatigue is a symptom that is too general to pinpoint to any one thing - so it is very difficult to say it belongs to say, the thyroid or the adrenals. It can be a vitamin issue, mineral, auto-immune or just about any disease out there.
I personally am not a fan of the TSH only approach - that is a pituitary test. So they need to run thyroid tests to test the thyroid. So I hope that you also get thyroid testing. I would change docs if you are not happy - or go to a different specialty like GP or rheumy for other sets of tests as your symptoms are not specific and they need to look for other things.
Thank you for being on the watch list; I realize it could be a number of things, . In response to your question about the return of thyroid cancer, I have not had an RAI uptake in several years. The doctor states as long as my TSH is virtually undetectable, there is no need to run extensive testing, although . there is an area of concern in the thyroid bed itself, which they are watching to see if it is changing in size. Sonograms are done at least once a year, in addition to blood work.Would you change doctors?

You really need to see a doctor. Have you had any tests lately and have you had a check up to make sure the thyroid cancer has not recurred?
