I do know as we get older, the alcholol does damage our bodies, things start breaking down, pancreas, liver, etc. It sure happened to me, you really don't ant to get pancreatitis or liver problems, it is very painful and chronic. It might be time to look for some solutions.
sounds like you have gotten your self in quite a drinking problem...i would wean off starting now...maybe take a few months to cut down...like 4 beers a day for two weeks then 3 beers a day for like 4 weeks then 2 for 4 weeks then 1 for 4 weeks...then none ..can you do that? billy
I drink about 4 to 6 beers 5 days a week and 10 to 15 two days a week. I feel like i have swelling but it is on the left side could that be my pancreas am trying to stop drinking. I went two days without last week and one day so far this week. I have been drinking for twenty years Im 38
do you know what your alts /asts are??...your liver is right under your lower ribs on your right side...what symptoms do you have....brain fog?...loss of strength? any red spots on your skin in the liver area?..fatigue?...and how much do you or did you drinkand for how long??some more info and we will try to help...billy
whens the last time u had bloodwork done with liver enzyme profile?abdominal tenderness,swelling and pain are symptoms of liver problems....xtreme liver problems show up in yellowing of eyes and skin called jaundice.....shows toxic liver poisoned by 2 much drinking!poor livers they filter the alcohol in the body!
