want to know if i have symptons of an alcholic

my wife has said to me lately that i'm a alcholic-if she stongly feels this way i need to find out if i do have characteristics of a alcholic and need to know if i need to seek treatment-i love my wife very much and if she strongly feels this way i need to address tis issue

You should seek an opinion on this from a professional.

If you do have an alcohol problem then you have to want to get better for yourself primarily. Your wif,e of course, is an important person in this decision but you have to want it for you most of all.

Please continue to look into this matter and best of luck moving forward.

We are not doctors on this forum so can only give you our advise.  My advise is you see a doctor or therapist.  They will ask you questions like, do you drink  everyday?  how much do you ever black out? do you wake up in the morning and drink?  do you get the shakes or throw up when you have not had a drink for a while?  Good luck.  I think deep down you know if you have a problem and the fact that you are on this forum is a good sign you may think you want to change your habits.  Good luck!!
