Kendall, I am one year older than you and experiencing the same thing, has it gone away? Will we always be like this? Please respond.
From, another worried teen
Well Kendall I would say yes you do have BRAIN DAMAGE!
Anyone who listens to their idiot friends tell them it will be perfectly ok--no damage here.....yes I would say you as well as your friends have brain damage.
Get rid of the friends and get rid of the alcohol--you are heading for big trouble!
Sincerely,
CML
This may be your first binge. Please try and remember this when you are in the position to do this again.
We're always here to talk anytime, any one of us would be happy to hear from you.

The point is that you do feel like you do. This is a consquence of drinking. you are showing that you are allergic to using alcohol. It might not affect you that you would ntoice, but swilling alcohol at any time has effects on your body. It's possible to socialize without it. Put your energyinto finding healthy pursuits and you will be less likely to pollute your temple to intoxication.
Also, don't drink overly too much water/tea. Drinking too much liquid is bad, especially if you're not eating a lot (since your body will start losing sodium; check the color of your pee... if it's silver, you're drinking too much and you should stop). Just drink normally. 2-3 L a day.
Back when I used to drink a lot (and I would drink a lot... 3 bottles of wine by myself at least) I would drink 4-5L of water instantly. It would prevent me from getting a hangover or from getting really drunk and vomitting. But it's putting too much pressure on your kidneys and causes you to lose sodium fast. It's not good. Better to drink alcohol moderately then try to make up for drinking too much by drinking a ton of water.

Not possible. If you didn't lose consciousness you are fine. Not to mention that you are eating... if there was something truly wrong with you, you would be vomitting everything that you eat. You can tell us your name, you remember what happened, etc. I've had a lot of friends in similar situations. I spent time calling ambulances for them, standing with them, and managing their conditions. Even if you go to doc, they can't do anything. The most they can do is take you to a hospital, and give you some intravenous fluids/nutrients just to sustain your electrolyte balance. It won't help you much. Your body is a better doctor for you in the end.
As for brain damage. Yes, you lost some brain cells for sure. Significant amount? No, not even close. No reason to worry. But I wouldn't suggest you repeat your drinking experience... it's not nice feeling this way, is it?
