Hi. In November, I will celebrate five years beer-free (and tobacco-free). I was an Olympian in beer drinking and when I quit, just quit. No tapering. No problems with seizures, etc. At this point, you are four days in so physically, I would expect the worst is over. My biggest advice from this point forward is that you do not focus on the can'ts and focus solely on every positive thing that will come from this decision. More time with your kids. More MONEY in your bank account. Good health! The accomplishment you will feel!!! Hang in there. You can do it.
