Hi Chichi, here's a link to something that might help you with this.

Best of luck. I really admire your determination. I have never had to go through such a difficult physical part of overcoming this addiction, I respect that you continue to fight. Don't give up!
Thanks...I'll start again today. I swim and it helps.
my concern for you was if you were getting very sick you might be needing to medically detox. There are drugs that bind to the same receptors, that prevent seizure in fist few days of w/d, the problem is these drugs are very addicting also, so they are very careful and monitor intake etc.
can you talk to a doctor about how you feel, honestly opening up and explain that you are quitting drinking? if not can you push through to day 6 and see if it gets better? there is alot of malaise in the beginning because your body is not use to not having alcohol. You got to try to be ok with not being ok, but with alcohol it should get better rapidly! After you feel better physically its all about changing your mindset, different activities, good diet (very important)keeping busy physically and mentally.
positive thinking, positive self talk and attitude are so important, and can be hard , but if you do the best you can , it will get better. otherwise you need to seek out a professional (doctor).
talking on forum and research online can help use time and keep brain thinking, about things other than negativity. :)
Please tell me what it is...I am on the verge of losing it.

Hi, I would suggest doing something to tackle the feeling of irritability you feel on day 3, it might just make the difference you need.
I guess it was malaise. Did not throw up...drank...felt better
Take it one hour at a time on that third day. Try not to think past each minute you're staying sober. Keep busy!!!! Walk, run, watch a funny movie, listen to music. Whatever!!!' Just stay active. You'll feel so proud once you get past that day.
how nauseous? did you sit in bathroom and throw up for long time, or did you feel anxious and have tummy ache?
did you drink? did it make you feel better physically right away?
